My wife decided to try these out and was not very impressed. These gauges are well constructed, but they're flared making them difficult to insert into the ear piercing. I would not recommend this particular product to wearers of ear jewelry.

I cannot tell you how much I love these. They're the perfect weight, sized properly, and look so cool. I usually sleep in my plugs but some metal ones I have hurt so I take them out. These I fell asleep in unexpectedly and did not bother me at all.The best part hands down, because I have OCD with my jewelry being symmetrical...is that you can reverse it to make them symmetrical. When I first put them in the spiral was going the same way, but I can easily make them both face in. Some I have only have a design on the front, or the back isnt as polished. But these are beautiful all around and keep my symmetry going. Love them!

These fit fine in my 5/8" ear holes, but the flares are a little drastic on them, so they did hurt going in and coming out. I'm not sure if all the flares will be as drastic, but mine were. They are light weight and cute though, so I'll still wear them off and on, but I'll try to put these in after a shower when my lobes are a little stretchier.
