Refer to the following chart for recommended times. Keep in mind everyone is different and you do not want to go faster than your body will allow. Don't size up if you notice any swelling or irritation.
It's best to relax your ear lobes with hot water or in the shower before starting the stretching process. The stretching will probably sting, but it should not cause a lot of pain. Wash the area daily with soap and try not to touch it throughout the day to prevent infection.

Very cute and I've received many compliments. They do initially turn your ears black, but I've had them in for weeks and my ears are not black at all. I do have rubber bands on the backside to make them fit better, but otherwise a very good buy.

Exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight- don’t stretch my ears. Perfect flare- they NEVER fall out. Color- stain will initially leave a residue but as long as you clean them before using them (which you should always do anyway!!!!!), they are down right perfect plugs. I wear them at my professional job and no one really notices the tunnel unless they look very closely. Purchased in size 0g.

These are horrible! First off, the flare is WAY too big. They are hard and extremely painful to put in. Secondly, the black is rubbing off onto my skin and you say not to get wet, but I can't take out for a shower since they are too painful to put in. I am extremely disappointed.

I absolutely love these gauges, and after reading some of the reviews, I was expecting a bigger lip in the back, unfortunately I had to add a rubber ring to the back cause they would fall out cause the lip in the back was so little. But other than that they are beautifully made and I'm so in love with them.

I'm giving five stars for several reasons. First of all they are beautiful and I was looking for some really elegant gauges to match my Rockabilly. Wedding dress so when I saw these when I had to have them plus the cost is so so cheap. I can't believe I got such adorable plugs for so cheap: ) but most importantly the customer service was amazing, I was in such a hurry to get them that I accidentally clicked the wrong size so once I realized the error I emailed the store owner and she was just so so sweet to me, not only did she pull the right size for me but she was so understanding, because she was so sweet I will only purchase plugs from her store from now on, it's been a great experience.

These came very fast and are very pretty but I have a few issues with them. First, the flare is so big! I ordered a 2 and the flare is equal to a 0 ( I compared it to some gauges I already have). So, it was really hard to get them in and made my lobes bleed a little. Second, the black paint that they put on the wood rubs off and turns my earlobes black. So much black is rubbing onto my ears that I'm sure the gauges themselves won't be black much longer. Last, they came with a small business card that says not to get them wet, but to rub them with oil once a week. I can't get them wet?! You're telling me I have to take them out every time I shower? That would not be so bad if the flare wasn't so large but I had a hard enough time getting them in in the first place! No way I'm going to take them out and put them back in for every shower. I wish they would have included that in the description because I wouldn't have ordered them if I knew they couldn't get wet.
