The earrings arrived in a small black jewelry box and were individually packed in plastic bags to prevent scratching. The earrings are of good quality. The lever-back fasteners are nice and add a little extra protection so they don't slip out of your ears. They hang down approximately one inch from the ear and are very comfortable.I like the setting a lot - as the description states, they are simple and elegant. They are lustrous - the gem and the setting sparkle and just the right size.
