Scapular was beautifully made with simple but sturdy materials. My mom had been asking for one and she was very happy when it arrived. The rectangles are larger than very small rectangles my mom was used to. The rectangles are also bound by a thin, soft cordage, not ribbon, which felt gentle around the neck/shoulders.

Very nice. One review said it is large. It is only slightly so. The cords are shorter and the cloth is just a little bit longer than others I have worn. I include a photo with a standard paperclip next to it for size comparison. I like the shorter cords. I don't think it is wool. It feels like a thin synthetic felt on the back. The cross on the one I received is attached to one of the cords, not both. The Carmelite crest is perfect for lay or third order Carmelites.
