Yes, this is heavy on the right ear, but only after a while of wearing (especially with the masks pulling on your ear)....but it's SOOOOO worth it...it is beautiful and works for males just as well as it does for females....I loved it so much I tried other ear coverings that didn't work as well (too femm) ....if u like to stand out and don't mind a bit of heaviness in doing so, this is 4 u....no pain, no gain....

Probably one of the coolest earrings I’ll ever own. I haven’t worn it out anywhere yet, just tried it on right when I got it in the mail. I read that it is heavy and can fall off your ear. It definitely is heavy and I can understand how it can fall off the ear but it seems to fit well on mine. I even jumped around and shook my head from side to side and it stayed. The craftsmanship is amazing and I absolutely how it looks on me! I’d buy this again if I needed to!

It's very attractive and detailed, but neither my gf or I could figure out how to put it on an ear. A photo showing someone actually wearing it would be quite helpful. So, it's now pinned on my vest for the Gasparilla Pirate Parade!

I bought this for a Viking costume. It's attractive and stylish but way too heavy to stay on your ear without falling over.

This looks like a really cool earring but it never fit my daughter's ear right and it's kind of heavy to actually stay put

Very solid item. Well made, looks great. Only problem’ was user-related. If you have small ears it might take a bit of effort to make the dragon ‘fit’ correctly. Putting the stud in with the dragon part hanging down, then swinging the dragon up to hook over the ear, is the easiest way to make it work. The reason I only put four stars for Comfort is because I personally found it heavy. I guess I’m just not used to having metal dragons hanging on my ears.Re. The photo...ignore the part that is dangling down from the dragon’s mouth, that’s a separate item.Well worth the price.

This is bad A**!!!It is heavier than I expected, but it is a very sturdy piece of metal which is what I wanted. The dragons head goes into my lobe peircing like a regular earring, and I need to pull the top of my ear through the tail so that it hooks behind and is securely in place.I could see it hurting after a little while, butI plan to wear this as part of a costume for Halloween for just a few hours, so I'm excited.

It's heavier than I was expecting and I have trouble getting it on. Maybe I just need to wear it more to get used to trying to put it in my ear hole and wrapping it around my ear simultaneously. I have found I can wear it on either ear, it just wraps the other way on my left ear. But I absolutely LOVE it! It makes me so happy every time I have it on.
