I have tried several watch winders, and only one has pillows that are large enough to accommodate watch bracelets sized for my wrist, which is 8 inches. If the watch is loose in the winder, then it bangs and jangles around a lot and will impact other watches or touch the case display and scratch the acrylic/glass. I am always forced to attach extra foam pads to fill in the extra half to one inch gaps so that the watches will stay in place. This watch winder suffers the same problem. The first two photos show how much of a gap there is and how badly the watch dangles in the winder. Watches with straps are okay, but I have to cinch it up which on some straps will cause an ugly break/crinkles higher up on the leather.The second two photos is my attempt to add foam pads on the ends, which works fine but isn't very attractive. The last two photos was using the pillows for the 5 storage slots in the bottom of the case. Oddly, my watches actually work on these without any modification and these will fit into the winders.I would give this product a full 5 star review if all the pillows were all the same larger ones; I now have to use the undersized pillows in the storage slots, but it's safe enough to have my watches be loose in there rather than in the winder. I can't even find a way to obtain these larger ones anywhere.The only other negatives are the lack of a power brick to provide power (a USB-A to round pin cable is provided) and when the door is fully open, the whole case is front heavy and can tip forwards if you're not careful.Otherwise, the winding functions are perfectly good. In fact, this is one of the quiest winders I have. The winding has a few different modes (clockwise, counter clockwise, CW then CCW - some watches will only wind in one direction). The internal lights are plenty bright, though very blue. The winders will automatically stop when the door is opened. And there is a lock, which is mostly useless unless you have a curious toddler like I have. I also like that it doesn't have a huge logo or brand name scrawled across it. There's plenty of space from the winders to the acrylic; my thickest case watch is 15.25mm (and 43mm wide) and there's still a significant gap.The finishing is fine, but it's not glossy smooth. The silver lining is that it's not a finger magnet like my other winders that have the piano gloss exterior. The glass is nice and won't scratch as easily as the acrylic in my other winders. However, it's also heavier and adds to the tippiness of the case.So the positives are winding versatility, plenty of space for large (wide and thick) watches, auto shutoff, lights, and whisper quiet operation (probably the quietest of all my winders). The negatives are the small pillows in the winders (though adequately large storage pillows), tippiness when center of gravity changes with open door, and lack of a power brick. The design overall is fine and up to personal taste. The glass is an upgrade, but contributes to the case's tippiness, so it's a wash.

I like the overall look this has for the watches. This watch box and winder is great for displaying my watches beautifully while winding them, so I don't have to worry about it being dead when I first wear it. I like the added light the box has because it lets my watches shine so beautifully. Very sturdy nice quality watch box I would highly recommend.

I was impressed with the appearance of the winder as soon as I opened it. It has a simple design yet is also elegant. There are 2 sets of winders, each with 2 cushions. Each of these sets can be programed for different rotation patterns. Originally, I was going to knock down some points due to the way the watches sit on the pillows - a 36mm Rolex is perfectly, but a 41mm Rado would fall out. I found that by rotating the pillow different ways, it would properly seat other watches without issue. You do have to play with the cushion to figure out the best seating for a particular watch. The 5 cushions at the bottom, which do not rotate, won't be an issue as they have nowhere to fall! My only complaint, and I didn't think it worthy of removing a star, is the lighting. The LED lighting is a nice feature, but I have found the LED's flicker somewhat which is annoying. Since the LED's are not an integral part and are not actually needed, I didn't dock a point. If you have several automatic mechanicals that need to be kept wound, this is a really nice looking option that functions well. And the fact it can hold your battery powered watches as well is a nice plus. To top it off, the unit is extremely quiet - I really can't hear it unless I'm right next to it. This is definitely a good buy.

Let's jump right to the most important part. This case is very tall, and you will need to secure it somehow or you will pull it over on you every time you open the door, potentially breaking the very items you're trying to show off. I can't believe this wasn't discovered during product testing. I'm seriously only using this because I found a place for it in a bookshelf where I can secure it with a shim on the top to prevent it from toppling over.If--and only if--you find a way to secure it, the product does seem to work, and it looks good. I wish the watch pillows for the winders were bigger. I have two automatic watches with clasp bands instead of buckle straps, which means I can't change the size of the closed watch. And they are just big enough that they only loosely fit around the pillows. This means that they slosh around as the watches rotate, which is unacceptable for several reasons. So I had to create shims for those as well.I've Frankenstein'd together a nice display/winder, but for this money you shouldn't have to. And I suppose "super quiet" is a relative term. Compared to a rock concert it's quiet, but I can easily hear it from across my room if I'm not listening to music or TV to fall asleep.

My box arrived without the accessories, and the company happily sent them to me separately. So, five stars for service!The actual box is gorgeous. It is very well made, quieter than some others I have, and is frankly just lovely. Operation is simple. Most importantly, the blue light can be turned off. It looks very cool when it is on, but since I use this in my bedroom it was a little too much at night.
