These are great hoops and I love the unique star shape. They're small enough to wear often but not so small they aren't noticable. The hinges are pretty sturdy, I haven't had any issues.

My wife says: Opening this package was like unboxing a stylish surprise. These star-shaped hoops arrive nestled in a cute vegan suede pouch, setting the tone for what's to come. First, let's talk size – they claim to be "chunky," but I'd say they're more subtly substantial. The 14k white gold plating adds a touch of luxury, and the well-finished surfaces were more polished than I expected. From certain angles, they look like stars, but most of the time, they look like spikes – and that works for me. The fastening mechanism gets a thumbs-up for feeling secure, a crucial factor for hoop enthusiasts. However, the allergy alert kicked in – my ears and jaw started turning red. So, while these may be hypoallergenic for some, they are not my ears' best friends. However, these punky hoops were too cute to return. A quick sealant spray, and we were back in action. A hit-or-miss hypoallergic metal may be a deal-breaker for sensitive ears.

The media could not be loaded.  These are unique, I'm an astrologer and have always loved stars, moons, celestial witchy things...but the aesthetic of these could also go just classic or even kind of rock/punk. In that style it seems like they would be awesome on guys too, or worn assymeyrically with just a single one.They are bigger than I thought but I actually like them more, I thought I would use them for 2nd hole/accents to longer danglier earrings I generally wear, but I put these in over a week ago and they're just still there being cute. They gave me that 'feeling' for a few days, of....hmmm....are they pissing off my ears? Are they going to get crusty, or trun me green, or just make that itchy sore reaction where you can't keep them in long? But it never did, and the feeling subsided, so maybe I was just nervous.They feel solid, not cheap and bendy like many fashion earrings.They are a clicker style, similar to septum rings, and the hinge/lock mechanism for opening and closing feels both easy to open and close, but also secure and not loose or floppy. Sometimes things like this bump or snag open way too easy and can fall off and get lost, while others can be SO tight when closed that it's difficult to take them off.These are a total win for me, whether daily wear or out and about. I'm also going to try them in 2nd holes with other bigger earrings for a more dramatic effect for concerts/festivals. Very cute, would make a great teen gift. They're really well made!

I am so happy with these earrings. I seek out non-tarnish jewelry because I have so many piercings that switching out my earrings is a special occasion. These are non-irritating and non-tarnish despite me having worn them or left them out by the sink (oops) for nearly a whole month. Any inferior metals would have easily shown some damage already but these look as good as when I got them. They arrive in a lovely box with a pouch and a card describing more about the brand's goals. One warning, the spikes are actually quite sharp. I had no issue when wearing these for the most part, but my partner did complain about them when cuddling. Overall I am very happy with these earrings and would recommend this brand to anyone looking for that clean steel, yet edgy look who wants to invest in long-lasting quality products.

I have an addiction to stars for some reason. So I had to get this pair of earrings.They're a great size. Usually I find earrings like this are smaller in person. Which is ok. But I wanted a pair that's just slightly larger without being too big, bulky or heavy where they droop on the earlobes.This is actually pretty perfect for me. They're a solid feeling design. I'd say a not obviously annoying weight to them, as once on, I don't notice on. But when I felt the weight of the box they came in, you could feel like there's a metal jewelry inside.Nice polished shine, easy to open and a secure feeling closure to them. I've had some star hoops that the points felt sharp and when laying down, wearing over the ears headphones or holding phone to the ear, hurt. These ones, I say don't have that problem. They don't look rounded on the tips, but they definitely don't have a sharpness feeling against my neck. So bonus points!!Came in a gift box, and inside the box a pouch type bag that has a snap. A nice presentation if these are going to be a gift. Fair price for good quality earrings.

So, when you're looking at these from the front of your ear, they look like spikes. I showed pictures of the side and me folding my ear to where you could see the star. I kind of like the spike look to them! I put these on my cartilage because they look awesome there. The reason I am doing four instead of five stars is that my ears felt a bit funny in them and had to get used to them. Felt a little red like there is something chemically my ears were reacting to. I'm not sure of what the metal is underneath the coating. Other than that, my ears did get used to them. If you are sensitive maybe skip these. I can also suggest, you could put a little coating on them of clear nail polish or something. Honestly, my ears got use to them in under 10 minutes so it should be fine for anyone else. I absolutely love that these snap into place. Earrings that snap into place are my favorite type. Great design and a decent price.
