This lotus seed mala is beautiful. The mala arrived well packed inside a nice little box with a nice little cloth bag to store the mala. It's well made and feels pretty sturdy. The mala is hand knotted between each lotus flower seed. The lotus flower seeds are smooth and easy to use during my mediation practice. The lotus flower seeds are large, I would compare them to about the size of 10mm beads. The size of the seeds is easy to mediation with but, they do also make the mala quite long which run turn makes it challenging to wear around my wrist.As someone who tries to practice Zen Buddhism and mindfulness I am loving using this mala. I love lotus flowers and would consider them my favorite flower so I happily pounced on ordering this mala and I am so glad I did. I actually practice making my own mala with 8mm crystal/mineral/gemstone beads. As someone who makes malas I'm still very impressed with the craftsmanship of this mala. The lotus flower seeds are evenly and consistently spaced and the knots are consistent and strong. I ordered this mala to use for my mediation practice and I am very happy with the quality and feel of this mala. Very high quality, smells like real lotus seeds, and the beads are large and sturdy which is excellent for real meditation use. Many mala I've ordered online have beads too small to really fit in between your fingers well and I lose place easily. These fit well in the hand and are easy to keep track of with each breath. Would recommend for anyone looking for an authentic mala.
