Orient Men's 'SK Diver Retro' Japanese Automatic/Hand Winding Stainless Steel Sports Watch

This thing is awesome. Like others have said, it’s an Orient! The value for money is through the roof. The finish on the bezel and quality of the automatic movement rival some watches 5x the price. You get an in house movement with a day date complication, second hand hacking, and an inner rotating bezel for ~$200. I love the retro/classy/AP influenced design of this watch. It wears well on the wrist and the case isn’t too bulky. The accuracy at this price point is also impressive. I’ve owned this watch for a few months now and have been getting ~+4 seconds a day.Where this watch loses points is in the bracelet and water resistance. The bracelet is the cheap stamped folded link type found on many affordable watches. I like the retro look of it and find it goes nicely with the watch, but it does feel like a $5 bracelet, especially when holding the case by comparison. The clasp closes firmly but doesn’t feel like a true dive watch. Which, it isn’t a dive watch. Although marketed and labeled as such, I wouldn’t recommend much more than wearing this thing in the shower. Would’ve loved to have seen at least 100m resistance, but understandably, Orient had to cut corners somewhere. For the price, I can’t recommend this watch enough. If you’re thinking of adding this watch to your collection, do it!! I don’t think you’ll regret it

EDIT: After owning for a couple months, I still feel strongly about this watch. You either love or hate the design; if you love it, it's worth the price. The major shortcoming for me is the bracelet itself. Again, it could be worse, but it's really not good. I replaced it with a straight-endlink beads of rice bracelet and I am extremely happy with the result.Gorgeous watch. For those that like the delightfully gaudy look of Japanese watches from the 70s and 80s, this is spot on. The automatic movement, based on my testing so far, seems quite accurate for this price point. Very nice finish on the outer part of the case, and some great glisten from the dial area. Really looks good. Lume is sub-par but who honestly cares about lume? My big worry was the bracelet, which I was told was "jangly and cheap" in reviews. It's not great, but it's actually pretty decent for an l-pin bracelet. Wears comfortably, looks great on the wrist. I will update this review in a few months but my first impressions of this watch are great. I was a bit hesitant to buy it at this price but after receiving it, I feel it is fair.

My new favorite watch. I've always wanted an Orient and glad I waited and went with this one. I have a collection of about 8 watches and since I got this one it hasn't come off my wrist! Overall it's very classy and good quality. I don't know what the person was talking about who said it was small, it's a good-sized watch (41?). The lugs are a bit close together, so you really need to keep the stock band, which wraps around them and then tapers in.This could be the only drawback of the watch. I would have loved to order a leather band for it, but because of the tight lugs, a leather band would need to be very thin and I think would look funny. When my mother saw the watch, the first thing she complemented was the band. It looks nice but is a little bit light and jingly to the touch, especially, for example, when compared with my Omega Seamaster but of course that watch is in a different league.Overall, it's a great watch and I love it. Even nicer in person than in the pictures!

There is not much to be said about this watch. It’s an Orient for crying out loud. Get it already! The watch is of superb quality and Orient has made reliable products for decades. I feel comfortable wearing this watch and trust it as much as all of my Seiko watches. This watch is retro and has a very 80’s feel and look to it. The bracelet is thin but very comfortable. If you want a cool looking high quality affordable watch then this is a must buy. This watch will last you a lifetime with good care.

Accurate and beautiful. Like buying a NEW OLD watch, you get the best of both worlds
