The opals look beautiful and are the size expected but the actual metal of the earrings probably won't hold up after a few opening and closings, very thin cheap material. Worth the money for the stones to put on a different holder in my opinion.

These opal earrings are truly beautiful & light weight. This is my sister’s birth stone and one of the gifts I gave her for Christmas. She loved them! They look very classy & these actually came nicely packaged in a velveteen pouch, which was good for gift giving. I do highly recommend these beautiful opal earrings. They have a light dangle & the leveback makes them more dressy and classic to dress up/down. Nice w/ a sweater & even appropriate for evening wear, too. Very versatile @ a great price-point.
