These are very dainty. Smaller than a dime but they are cute. I'm pretty sure they are lab created opals. The seller calls them cz opals? They have beautiful blue and green shimmer to them. They are gold plated but I'm very unsure what the main metal is. There is conflicting information on the site. I have extremely sensitive ear but I was able to wear these for a few hours without any issues. Without knowing for sure what the base metal was, that was as long as I was willing to wear them at one time. I will definitely keep them to wear again unless I start to react. They are really pretty earrings.
