My wife is working on starting to sell her jewelry and to that end we are gathering displays. When I had the chance to grab this Oirlv Solid Wood Earrings Display Stand Showcase I took it (we also got another type) because we liked the look of it. In the end we do LIKE the set. It looks nice. However, there are some.... possible issues. We cannot “prove” they will become problems, but there are enough things just-that-much-off we both decided to give this a 4 star rating.The gray on wood looked good in the pictures and live up to it in person. They do look nice/cool. The wood looks real and we like the stain. The gray material is soft together it’s a handsome look.The first issue we have is the individual gray stands. The folded, v-shaped holders feel and look as though they are on a thick cardboard and at this point are done in a way that requires you squeeze them slightly to make them fit and they are held in place that way. This works - at present. We believe they will weaken over time meaning they won’t need that little squeeze, but also that they won’t stay upright as well once they weaken. Only time will tell, but it’s enough at this point we are concerned.Another area of... concern is that longer earrings need to be up front or you can’t see them and they sit off to the size in the back to lines. It’s not... bad. It’s that it “lessens” the display - you cannot see them as well. So to our taste and opinion it means this Oirlv Solid Wood Earrings Display Stand Showcase is really for shorter or stud earrings, limiting your options. Each individual stand has two TINY holes - I emphasis this because in testing them, my wife had to poke through at least half the holes. They were “Started” - you could see an indent - but she had to poke through and in at least two cases was concerned about using the earring, so she didn’t use those stands for pictures and will use a needle to pop through later. For us this is not okay in that you’re expecting them to be show-ready and we feel this is a weakness in manufacturing. Nothing you can’t work with, but not the “ideal of a 5 star rating.” To that point as well, the holes themselves are not really consistent in location.In the end we DO like this Oirlv Solid Wood Earrings Display Stand Showcase (and another type of display we got from Oirlv), but we feel, having gotten other kinds from another company, that this Oirlv Solid Wood Earrings Display Stand Showcase is not at the 5 star level, but a fairer rating is the 4 star. If you’re showing off your best, you want theirs.
