I bought this to gift 2 heirloom rings so I looked at several choices. This presentation case came nestled in a matching, close-sized outer box. The whole ensemble is excellently done, and very elegant. Only small detail was that the padding for the rings is very tight for thicker rings, but it's still workable.

As is apparent from the photo, my engagement ring features a very large diamond in a very high setting. It has been difficult to find a ring box to accommodate it because most are too shallow. This box is beautifully made, roomy and substantial. Very elegant. Please note that, due to its size, this box is for safe storage, not to be used to hide a ring prior to a proposal. It is too large to fit into a pant’s pocket!

It’s a beautifully made box, but be mindful of dimensions. I was looking for something that could be slipped into a pocket, and this box was too large for that.
