When this necklace was very pretty when it arrived. However i have 2 warnings for potential buyers. 1) where you put the ashes is very small ( i was only able to place a small bone fragment in it) AND 2) I went swimming, in the ocean in Hawaii and the clear disappeared. It is now a very pretty clear crystal devoid of color. I still really like it and my niece continues to wear it. Side note: I might buy another just because it's still a very pretty trinket.

I collect antique sterling pieces. This amulet appears to be well made with the attention to detail. The threads on the removable loop are timed. Meaning when the loop is tight it’s perpendicular to the case as it should be. For the money i’m pleased. I can carry my Sisters ashes around with me.
