Over the years I had several cartilage piercing in my ears. No matter how long I had them on they always hurt when sleeping. These ear cuffs are well made (maybe a little less sturdy than I expected) but they are easy to put on and stay in place all day with no problems.

Price was right. But 3 days after putting a couple on, 1 began to hurt. When I went to adjust the tightness of it, I discovered the edge had broken off and the left over parts had embedded themselves into the back side of my ear. Had to pry it out/off. It left 2 small scar dots. But if applied with less tension, they fall off. I guess it's simply a repeated guessing game to get them to stay on but not cause pain or injury. Thinking piercing might be the better way to go
