Worn twice, clasp stripped on the second use. Bought as a backup to my main OM necklace (that I've been wearing 15 years), but now need to replace the clasp before I can rely on it.Pendant is exactly the same as the one I've worn every day for 15 years, & the chain is solid enough for regular wear.

I purchased this medallion about six months ago and continue to like it very much. It is a nice size and has good weight to it. The product discription is a little confusing because the item is pictured as polished silver around the outer edge but is in fact antiqued like the description states. Would buy from this seller again.

I have this product and wear it everyday so it represents where I am in my faith in this point of my life. Encountering Om, has been one of the most profound meditative experiences in my spiritual journey. POWERFUL inner transformation. I still need more inner work. Now the medallion is beautifully crafted but its light, does not feel as heavy as silver. I thought it should be more heavier in weight, but who am I a jeweler? any way the price could be far cheaper than what there asking for. The chain, hated it, went and purchased a new silver chain which enhanced the beauty of this pendent. Great Piece, over charged. They should sell it with or without the chain, give us options. Om Shanti.

The lobster claw clasp didn’t even hold up for one day’s wear...

Okay, look its an Aum pendant and not something you can readily find easily from a the stalls or stores in the local mall. However, if I paid $30, I would expect it to be of some quality. Feels really cheaply made, hasn't tarnished, yet, but the chain that it comes with looks like one of those chains that attaches to your bathtub sink with the plastic clogger. Realistically, you would need to buy another chain. Recommend you just to visit your local indian jewelery store or a hippie store which usually will carry these pendants.

It is thin, and not particularly heavy. It is an alright pendant (cheap chain of course), but if I were in a store I wouldn't purchase it for 30 dollars.

I love the pendant! However, as most other reviews explained, the chain is not that great. I ended up getting a black chain that looks very nice with the pendant (im a male...black chains look so much better...my g/f said the silver chain made me look like im trying to be a pimp or something!). So, for any males getting this necklace, i recommend switching to a black chain instead. I went to JoAnne's (a local fabric store) which sold this black chain that is silky looking material and it was under two dollars and looks VERY nice with the pendant. It is this chain you kinda make yourself by attaching the clip to it...it all comes in this little bag and its very easy to assemble...and the good thing is you can make the chain whatever length you want. They have those black silky chains you can buy from Amazon, but they are like $7 and plus after shipping and handling you'll end up paying $12, so not worth it. So for any males getting this necklace, in my opinion the $30 was well worth it because the pendant looks bad a** especially with a black chain. And its only another measily two dollars for a black chain! I've received numerous compliments everyday. So for anybody worried, as i was originally, about spending $30 and worried about all those other reviews about the cheap chain, the pendant looks really nice and it is worth it. It is aged-silver and looks cool. To me, seems more of a guy necklace however...especially with a black chain.

I bought this necklace in March 2008, and as of this writing, I have worn it for 1648 consecutive days. Literally, every single day since it arrived.Pretty much right away I had to replace the chain after it caught on something. I put a very nice silver chain on it, and it looks beautiful. The pendant itself has held up very well over the past 4.5 years. The pendant does not scratch easily, but it does have a few minute scratches which adds a little character.I did not pay $60 for this necklace. It was around $30 when I bought it. Knowing that it has held up beautifully for 4.5 years, I might be willing to pay $60 to replace it should it get lost.
