My boyfriend wanted this for his birthday! Im definitely returning it! It's light weight, the face itself is nice but the band clings together and sounds like plastic. So disappointed!!!

I bought this because I was tired of pulling out my phone to check the time. For under $40, this watch is a superb value. It keeps perfect time, is nicely constructed, and beautiful. It even came with a groovy tool to adjust the bracelet. From a few feet away, the watch's appearance is flawless. Up close, however, it becomes easier to see the differences between it and higher quality timepieces. The machining of the case is just ever so slightly wavy and the detailing not very deep. The watch hands appear to be luminous, but aren't. Unless you are interested in timing events in 5 second intervals, the stopwatch feature is useless and even if you are, the controls for it do not operate very smoothly. The date display is not very visible and the second hand shifts position when the watch is set. Worst of all, the Olevs logo is a very obvious ripoff of Rolex's. Again, this is an affordable and beautiful watch, so much so that I am going to order one of their automatic models to check out.

I have six or seven different watches from Olev's now and I love them all! This one is a great addition to the collection and looks stunning. It has functioned perfectly for the six months or so that I have been wearing it so far. It still looks as good as did the first day I took it out and tried it on. It is very easy to adjust and only took a few minutes to have fitting just right. These watches are unbeatable at this price, and I will continue ordering them as long as they make them!

What can I say about a watch at this price point? Quite frankly, it's very nice and I'm happy to have it. Everything was protective-wrapped quite tightly inside the box it arrived in, to prevent any incidental marks on the band/case/crystal finish. The time & date on the watch were preset, so I didn't even have to read the instructions to set time. Already done for me by the seller. The case and band are highly polished, and it's a beautiful finish. The band has a nice double latching butterfly clasp. It is not a "heavy" watch, but is still quite substantial.Unless you have a magical wrist or only wear leather/rubber banded watches, every watch you buy will need the band adjusted, links removed, before wearing. This watch came with a link pin removal tool in the box. Just check the arrows on the underside of the band to make sure the pin is being pushed in the proper direction, align the tool's pusher pin with the pin you're removing, and screw it in until the pin pops. You will have to unwrap the band to remove links, just sayin'. Putting a pin back in (all the way) is actually more challenging without putting idiot marks on the band. I have my own watch repair toolkit, so it was easy. Find a very smooth, hard surface to push against it if you don't have a tool.What review would be complete without mentioning time keeping? The watch does keep time, which is what watches are supposed to do. Honestly, I didn't need all the other functions; I just thought those extra dials looked cool -- pretty much like every other guy on the planet. This is a 5-star watch at its price point. It's a nice looking watch. It's not $20k, but it's good quality, so to me that means it can be worn every day doing everyday things. And that's what I'm going to do with it.

I like the design of the watch, but I didn't like that the pins in the band stuck out & were sharp when I wore it on my wrist. Some of the pins were even loose. The band was defective. The band should have been checked for quality before it was sent out to the customer
