I got this watch for my husband. He's been in need of a good, analog watch for quite a while. He doesn't care for digital watches & we've never found just the right one for him. This one is great. The numbers are large. The hour & minute hands are not too thin, making it easy to read. It's a great benefit having a second hand, even if you're not a doctor or nurse because it allows you to check your own heart rate & pulse, which is a real benefit when exercising to keep your heart rate in optimal range.We chose the one with the dark face, white hands & numbers & red second hand. The numerals, hour & minute hands show very well against the black background. The red second hand & military time numbers are also easy to see against the dark background. The numerals & hands are luminescent at night for easy reading, and the high quality Japanese is keeping great, accurate time.Though it isn't waterproof, it is water resistant, which is a great feature when washing hands, watering plants or if you happen to get caught in the rain. He's had it for over a month now & it's keeping great time. It's nice not having to remove it when washing hands & dishes. He always removed his watch when showering or swimming, even when he had a waterproof one, so taking it off during those times is no extra trouble.It's very reasonably priced too, so it would make a great gift for anyone. Even if it did get wet or damaged, one wouldn't feel too terribly bad about having to spend another $23.00 to buy a new one. We're both glad that we got this watch for my husband. He's wanted something just like this for a long time & it has lots of benefits that he's been looking for in a watch. If you're looking for a good quality watch for yourself or someone else, I recommend you give this a try.

Only been using it for about a month so far, but it keeps accurate time and easy to read.The band is really soft and smooth and comfortable to wear.Ordered and using the black and white version.Nurses need a second hand on their watch for taking blood pressures and counting heart rates, etc.It's easy to tell the time in military time and regular hours as well.

I like this watch! Easy to read and has a nice, simple design. The silicon wristband is friendly on the skin. Being able to count time down to the second can be really useful. I haven’t really noticed the glow-in-the-dark aspect yet, but maybe it just needs more sunlight.This watch was surprisingly easy to set up! I wound it clockwise and pressed the little button down at the right moment to set the time. So far it’s holding up well. I will admit there was some guesswork involved- the instructions were terribly written and confusing.But aside from that, it’s really nice to have and works perfectly fine!

As a nurse, a wrist watch is vital equipment necessary to do my job. This watch ticks all the boxes, including a LARGE easy to read dial, sweep secondhand, and a comfortable sturdy water resistant watchband. I chose the Nude colored band with a white watch face and yellow-gold colored bezel. Any of the offered strap and face combinations will look professional. One thing I especially like is the sturdiness and thickness of the silicone band. I also appreciate that the numerals on the watch face are bold and easy to read. For those on military time you’ll find those markings as well. The red sweep secondhand is easy to see. Although the description mentions water proof, it appears it’s more water resistant, which for most applications in nursing is all you need. All in all, I am completely satisfied! Bottom line, this is a professional looking comfortable watch that is perfect for nurses.
