The chain is made of gold but its links open easily, it happened on two occasions I only felt that the chain fell, it breaks easily. I only used it for a little over a month, the seller's 30-day warranty ran out so I lost my money. The seller has a price of $40 for repair that is, for each broken link in the chain the seller has a price of $40 plus shipping, it was too much. So I decided NOT to send the chain to the seller. I took it to a local jewelry store and the price there for the repair is $50. In that jewelry store they saw that other links were going to be opened. I would spend more on repair than the price of the chain. I'll leave you with my experience when you buy jewelry like this online, take it to a jeweler within 7 days or before wearing it.

Cheap gold worst thing I've bought on Amazon period had my Amazon prime account for 8 years now hands down worst business practice I've ever seen in my life be advised don't do normal things like take a shower or take your shirt off these chains will break not even worth scrap gold would want to keep it if they forced me too ill be comparing to Amazon! Your better off buying from a pawn shop or a jewelry store ! Nuragold is straight junk!!!!!

Doesn’t say this in the description ANYWHERE. The chain broke and is hollow and so thin it can’t be repaired. Don’t waste your money. Not worth it. Buy something not hollow. If I could do minus 6 stars, I would.
