This is a nice gift but it looks a little bit feminine to me. It doesn't scream masculine men's jewelry but it doesn't matter because it's the thought that counts. I gave this to my Dad because I wanted to give him a little something to show how much I love and respect him. He really has shaped me into the man I am today. I often think to myself what my father would do/think in difficult situations. He's always been there for me so those are a few of the reasons why he's the number 1 Dad in my book. He likes it but I'm not sure how often he'll wear it. I was unable to test if it's made with both 14k gold plating and sterling silver but they do look convincingly real because of the great quality. So it's something I would recommend as a nice gift idea! :)

This necklace was not what I was expecting. Right off the back, it is suppose to be silver and gold but it does not have a speck of silver on it. The picture makes it seem like the silver is more like sparkle glitter but in real life, it's just gold overlay. I can't imagine a man wearing it. It is uber paper thin, lightweight and the chain is very short for a man. It barely fits my neck and I am at least twice as small as my husband and adult son. Right out the bag, the necklace had a knot in it which is a bad sign but because it is so light weight and thin, it easily tangles. I actually do like the charm and I am going to use another chain with it just to make it useable because the size of the charm is perfect, as you can see by the pictures, the charm is a little (just a tad) larger than a dime. I really had high hopes for this necklace "until I took it out the box". I really wanted to like it " until I took it out the box". I waited anxiously for the arrival of the chain "until I took it out the box". I thought it would make a great Christmas gift from my grand daughter to her dad "until I took it out the box". Maybe I should have kept it in the box. Since this is for a man (being that it says #1Dad), please make the chain a little longer and add a little more weight to it, then it will be perfect.

I received this Number one #1 DAD Pandant and Necklace and the box it comes in looked like it had been beat up a bit but, I figured that is just the way it is sometimes and hopefully the inside will be fine. After removing the damaged cover, I opened the Jewelry Box, which even though it’s pretty plain, it says “Aria Jewels” on it in Gold colored writing and it wasn’t damaged. I then found that the inside looked worse for wear than the outside. It looked like someone had attempted to mount the Chain into each of the 2 slits that are meant to hold the Chain and they gave up. The bottom of the Box was torn up and actually separated from the inside of the Top. It seems they just left the rest of the Chain inside its original little Baggy, then just folded it up and stuffed it under the torn up bottom. Now, I think the Pendant itself is fairly decent but, I’ve never known a Man to wear a Chain such as this; it’s nice but Very petite. I’ve no choice but to look at this as if I had just purchased it and with that consideration, I wouldn’t be impressed with anything except for possibly the Charm and That would be seriously clouded behind the question in my Head of: “If they don’t care about the Presentation of their own Product then really, how good is the Product? I’m sorry but, I’ve no choice but to say that I wouldn’t be able to honestly recommend this Pendant/Chain. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope it’s been helpful!

Very nice pendant and chain. Although if giving it to dad it might be too fine. It is very delicate like a woman would wear not a man. I think it should have a little more weight to the chain and pendant. It is very beautiful though. Just again it is very delicate, and does not look like it would stand up to daily wear by my husband.

I really do NOT like companies that show a picture of another companies product and then send you the rip off copy they made!!! Look at the third picture of the man wearing a heavy chain and a Very Large "#1Dad" hanging from the thick chain...that is NOT what you will get!!! You will get a super thin short dainty chain and a tiny little #1 that NO MAN would not only NOT think of wearing....it wouldn't fit most males over the age of 15...!!! Total Rip off....however, it is a very Pretty #1 in Gold plating and might fit on a better heavier longer necklace (but would look kind of weird being that it is SO small and dainty)...and NO WAY this is worth fifty bucks!!! IF it were the product depicted in the photo of the man wearing it...maybe...but I hate when we are being Deceived by the photos!!! The two top photos more accurately depict the chain....but even those photos make it seem heavier and stronger....it is about the smallest, thinnest, daintiest you can make a chain for a human being....it is a total Rip Off!!! Only reason it gets three stars is the charm is very pretty and I am going to wear it in memory of MY Number ONE Dad, I truly had the best dad possible, so for that I am a thankful daughter....but I am not thankful for this necklace!!! It is a fraud!! Thank you!!!
