I use this to display my typing award pin collection. It's an awesome case, and looks really elegant. The "velvet" interior gets dust and specks stuck in it SUPER easily, so have a lint roller on hand. Some tape would probably work to get dust and specks off of it too.

There display boxes and inserts are of high quality. The boxes tops include glass and the boxes have secure latched. The inserts are velvet, the holes fit the canisters perfectly, and the canisters include cushioning and close securely. We bought the 50 count and the 24 count boxes. They come with one insert but a second set which can be bought separately fits on top of the original insert and the tip can still be closed. We recommend these display boxes and extra interts.

First display box arrived missing the hinge pins, Amazon quickly replaced the defective box. I'm satisfied with the quality for the price.

Item arrived minus a pin in the rear hinge, so it only had one working hinge. Hinge pin was nowhere in the box so I will have to find a nail to use instead.Foam is rippled like others mentioned, but I'm sure some double sided tape will do the trick. This is nothing fancy, just a cheap way to display your stones that looks nicer than ziplock bags in a rubbermade bin :)The plastic round cases will likely scratch once gemstones are added, so these might be a one and done sort of thing, keep that in mind.It's worth the $30 I paid though.
