This is a very modern, sleek necklace that would be excellent for layering and/or for daily wear. I chose the garnet stone and it's beautiful - a burgundy wine color, not super sparkly but catches the light nicely. The chain is also well-made and very elegant and the length is perfect - hits to my mid-sternum. My only critique of it is that the pendant doesn't lay flat against the skin so it tends to turn/spin when I wear it even though the chain isn't very long. Other than that, it's a great necklace.
