This necklace extender cost more than I wanted to spend, but it is certainly worth it. It has a sizable, sturdy clasp that gives me confidence it can withstand multiple openings and closings. The chains are also quite sturdy while still being stylish.The first necklace extender I ordered from another company (under $10) was a piece of junk and impossibly tiny. The old adage is true: you get what you pay for. This is a fine necklace extender and I believe it will work with even my heavier necklaces.

This was perfect to extend the length of a new paperclip necklace. Clasps are durable and securely affix to my necklace. My necklace is now more versatile and looks good with a variety of necklines.

I’ve gotten “regular” extenders on Amazon previously, but the chains are so thin seems too easy to break, plus a substantial difference in size to the actual necklace it’s too obvious it’s extended. This one is classified as medium and is much sturdier. I did want 6 inches added, so I bought two 6 inch extenders and doubled them over for even more strength. Very happy with it!

I needed a sturdy, relatively wide necklace extender for a necklace I was wearing to a function. The extender arrived in time - 2 days before I needed it. But... there was no jump ring. The extender is sturdy and is exactly what I needed, but I had to scrounge through old jewelry pieces to find a jump ring that would work. Quality control, or whoever hopefully checks these extenders before they are shipped, did a very poor job. Would not buy from this seller again!
