I got this rosary as a gift for a friend joining the Catholic Church and currently in RCIA. She will be making her first Holy Communion as an adult and many gifts for the occasion are very kid-focused. This rosary is a beautiful piece! It comes in a metal carrying box and a velvet pouch. I got the green color and it is a nice sage tone.In my rosaries I like the Our Father beads to be different from the Hail Mary beads so that I can better feel the end of a decade and the transition to the new mystery. This one has an added medal alongside the Crucifix for St Michael and a Guardian Angel. In all this is very giftable and I can't wait to share it with my friend. I only wish the green beads were a little larger and easier to hold in the fingers during prayer but that may just be my preference.

It is very large and heavy, and the links are very strong and well connected. The metal case that it comes in is extremely well engraved with clear lettering and imagery. It snaps closed and will stay shut until the button is pushed to open it. Overall this is a perfect Rosary, and it makes a perfect and relevant gift for anyone having their First Communion.
