This arrives simply packaged in a velvet drawstring pouch.The rosary itself is quite lightweight. The centerpiece is heavier than the entire rest of the rosary.The beads are smaller than expected but easy to count.I am not convinced the beads are true jasper. Jasper is a type of quartz and should feel cool to the touch . . . which this does not. On the other hand, it doesn't allow light to pass through, and I couldn't scratch it with a knife . . . like real jasper.This is a great starter rosary for a young child or someone that wants an everyday that there isn't a concern about it breaking.
