My wife says: I recently received this rosary, and I'm a bit let down. The beads are the biggest problem. They're supposed to be genuine stones but look like they were dyed dark blue. They remind me of those "enhanced" lapis lazuli beads sold at my local bead store. The description may be technically correct in that they are genuine stones. However, they do not appear to be "natural" stones. While the beads are weighty, I'm not impressed with how they're strung together. Instead of being knotted or joined with loop pins, they're strung on a stiff cable with spacer beads. It is not the quality I expected or what I think is needed to support such heavy beads or prevent loss in case of a break. And don't even get me started on the crucifix. It's lightweight and only stamped on one side. The backside is rough and unpolished, which is disappointing. I've ordered other Nazareth Store rosaries, and some of them were great. But this one? Not up to their usual standards in terms of materials and craftsmanship.

This is a large rosary with large beads, exactly as pictured in the listing. One of my photos includes a US penny for size reference. It has lovely green tinted dalmation jasper beads interspersed with silver colored textured beads. The crucifix is silver colored metal. It comes with a purple velvet feel drawstring pouch for storage and a card outlining the mysteries of the rosary. This is a great design for praying in the dark, for visually impaired or blind people due to the change of bead texture where you say different prayers. The only thing that could be improved is that it’s strung a little too tightly. Hopefully it will loosen up a bit with use. I’m very happy with it overall. Would make a great gift for first communion or confirmation, etc.

I love this rosary!! I have several around my house, my classroom and car. This rosary came in a beautiful velvet pouch. It is heavy and holding it makes a statement to how well it is made. I like the dark blue color of the beads and the metal pieces are great quality. I hope to pray many rosaries with this one!
