Tigers, considered to be brave, cruel, forceful, and terrifying, are the symbol of power and lordliness in Chinese culture. In ancient times, people usually compared emperors or kings with the tigers. Tigers are also considered as a patron deity for children and parents will prepare the shoes and hats with tiger designs for their babies.
The Chinese zodiac Tiger sign entitles people born in the Years of the Tiger to be natural leaders. They are adventurous, ambitious and have a strong sense of justice, but maybe also a little arrogant and impetuous.
Grades Of Jade
A Grade: Unprocessed, unaltered 100 percent natural Jadeite/Feicui. Natural jade that has only been polished in wax and undergone a heat treatment is known as A grade.
B Grade: Has undergone a bleaching process to clean the inside of impurities and inferior color. However, this process destroys the inner structure of the Feicui, leaving holes where the impurities used to be. These holes are filled with a type of clear polymer and then lacquered. This corrects all of the problems and leaves a highly transparent finished product that is known as B grade.
C Grade: It takes an already cut stone and adds color by dip-dying the stone. Color altered Jadeite is known as C Grade.
B+C: After the Jadeite has undergone an acid and alkali cleaning, it is dried and then dyed. This is called B+C Grade.

This is a gorgeous piece of premium quality Type A jadeite (considered to be the only accepted form of jade that qualifies as free of any form of chemical color treatments). It comes with a registered jewelry certificate of authenticity from Myanmar (Burma). This represents the Fire Tiger in the Chinese zodiac. It comes with a lovely gift box. I think it's really beautiful and well carved.

Although the tiger doesn't stand out as clearly as the one used to advertise the product, that is perfectly acceptable/normal with jade/jadeite, every piece will be unique in color. This is a great item to gift or to simply keep for good luck, this one will be kept in my car.It would have been nicer if the Tiger was a little clearer and easy to identify, but overall I am very happy with this product.
