Color: Dragon BloodSize: 8mm round beads strung on very thin black elastic cordFirst, I'm no gemologist or expert on crystals. I am pleased with the quality of the beads used in the bracelet-- no obvious flaws and enough differences in each to seem to be resin-cast rather than natural stones. However, I do think the product page could have described the bracelet better. It was a little confusing, and that was likely due to the fact that the only thing that changed in the descriptions of all the bracelets available was the the single bullet point for the particular stone or crystal. The remainder of the bullet points was the same, even to referring to the stone as being "appatite"(sic) crystal which they certainly are NOT.Dragon Blood (aka Dragon Blood Jasper, Dragonstone) is NOT the same thing as Apatite. It is also not a true jasper, but is primarily composed of green epidote and red piemontite. While it is NOT the same stone, its coloring is very similar to a Bloodstone.Apatite (yes, this is the correct spelling) is a phosphate mineral that has a hardness of 5 on the Mohs scale. This means it is a soft stone that won't take rough handling, but does make beautiful blue/blue-green beads. A little more care needs to be take when wearing or storing apatite stones.Okay, explanations aside, I do think the cost/value ratio is good even with taking into account the fact that I will be replacing the elastic used for stringing with something a bit sturdier. I like the Dragon Blood bracelet enough to consider getting a bracelet with a different stone. My opinion/experience only, and I did my own research on the bead/stones.

A little dull in the final polish but it's still beautiful. Fits perfectly, not too tight or loose.

This bracelet was offered in many crystal choices – almost too many. Since I could only choose one, my head was spinning. I almost gave up until I came across the one they called "Dragon's Blood." What an enigmatic name, and the colors looked so rich. I was not disappointed. It was even more beautiful in person and holding it in my hand, I felt connected to it right away. The stones are dark mossy greens with flecks of orange-red. It is a stunning stone and the bead millimeter size is generous. In this photo it is the top bracelet on my wrist and you can see it holds its own in a stack. I did some digging around and like I suspected, Dragon's Blood is a form of jasper. A more common name for it is Bloodstone, which is the alternate birthstone for the month of March. I was not born in the month of March, but my father was, so I will wear this piece to remember him by – and yeas, 2024 is the Year of the Dragon!

The lovely bracelet pictured here is the tiniest bracelet I have ever seen, outside of a baby doll's bracelet when I was a young girl. It is very dainty, and also very lovely because of that very reason. Lovely also because it is one of a kind in my collection.Dainty, natural crystal, and all the more lovely for being so feminine and delicate in size. If you purchase, be sure to specify the mm size your prefer if there is a choice of size being offered. As I realize may have missed out on choosing a larger size for the crystal beads when I placed my request and order. If you like very dainty crystal, or beads such as these, this might be just the right bracelet for you. In my collection it stands alone, but it too is very lovely, and very welcome. The small crystals add to my appreciation of that which is delicate and lovely in natural crystal as this one pictured here.🌼💐🌼

The bracelet was cute, it is a very basic “clear quartz” faceted bead. I am unsure if the gemstone is genuine, I haven’t gotten a chance to put it under my microscope to verify but when I do, if it isn’t genuine I will update my review. The reason I deducted a star is because the bracelet was too large. I don’t have super skinny wrists but normal sized wrists. Maybe they are a little skinny but this bracelet was huge on me and I have to shorten it in order to wear it. The beads also didn’t look genuine right off the bat. I have clear quartz faceted beads that are same size and everything and there’s a huge difference between mine and this one and my beads are 1000% genuine. I didn’t like that they looked a little cheap and if these are genuine, that can happen if you over polish or if you treat the gemstone in any way.

I like the selection of beads used in the bracelet. Most of them have the smokey translucent material and a few are transparent - all of them have the dendritic inclusions. The stretchy core of the bracelet is green - you can see the tails in the photo before I trimmed them down. You cannot see the color through the beads themselves though - you just see light reflecting from the drilled holes, which looks white. The customizable size of the beads is nice too. I don't think I'll go larger than 6mm for comfort (I’m picky like that), but this size is big enough to see some detail. The bracelet’s length is enough for my wrist without it having to stretch and it only rolls up and down a little bit over my wrist. You may want to measure - everyone varies. The circumference on mine was a little over 7 inches, but it’s probably less, as stated, with a larger bead size.
