Samaira Jewelry Diamond Accent Pointed Lariat Y-Necklace Pendant is sterling silver and coated in gold. The necklace hits right at the base of my neck and then combines into one strand to end in a point that hangs about another 3 inches. There are diamond chips set into the Y point and at the end of the lariat. You can see the sparkle when the light hits them. The chain feels smooth against your skin and looks wonderful with a sweater or t-shirt. This can be dressed up or worn with jeans.

I don't get it why this necklace has 4 stars overall. There's really nothing going for it. It looks like you're wearing a plain, thin and boring chain around your neck and the charm at the end is so small as to almost be invisible. I don't even think it is a charm - it looks like a tiny metal clump. Where are the diamond accents?? As of this review I don't know what it costs, but I'd pass on it.

This delicate necklace is very pretty. You can see the tiny diamonds where the chains meet and then it drops and features a single diamond. This is a sweet necklace and will go well with the matching earrings and bracelet.

Upon opening the box, this lariat y-necklace comes across a bit underwhelming. The chain is very thin and the diamonds on the drop chain are not very prominent. The detail photo on the product page is a bit deceiving as it will make one think the diamonds are more commanding and sparkling than they are in person. But as long as I put the chain on my wife straight, the diamond part faces up fine and doesn’t twist on her when she wears it. Also note the clasp is very average.As for size, when the necklace is around my wife’s neck, there’s about 3” between her neck and the top of the drop chain. Then the drop chain is 2.5” long as advertised.Despite the above criticism, once my wife tried on the necklace she warmed up to it as a very understated, versatile piece of costume jewelry that could be easily paired with many of her earrings. Since it’s subtle you might also be able to mix it up with other necklaces if you’re into being a little more eclectic. You’ll need to be careful storing the necklace as the thin chain will tangle easily.While visually the materials don’t come across as anything special, we did not encounter any issues with skin sensitivity. At the time of publishing I’m not sure about the cost, but I wouldn’t recommend paying much for it since it doesn’t come across special in any way.

This is an extremely delicate necklace. It's all one piece so if it breaks, it's done for. It is very lightweight. The diamond chips on it are tiny, in a very tiny setting. They only show from one side, and they are not heavy enough to sit at any certain way.I would like to say that I could recommend this for a small girl, or a very tiny woman, but really this is just too delicate to be durable, and it's too small to really be notable.I'm giving it three stars only because it is well made for what it is. The diamond chips are well set. I just don't like it because it's too small and too delicate.
