about item
- The color of a blue sapphire is more important than its clarity. Sapphires are rarely completely clean and even very expensive stones can be slightly included. Subtle differences in color can make great variations in valuations of fine gemstones. Fine loose gemstones of good color and clarity are always rare and valuable. Highly saturated medium or medium dark blue tones are best, blue sapphires which are too dark or too light are worth considerably less.
- Color zoning is responsible for certain Sapphires having lighter and darker colors in different parts of a crystal. Some Sapphire gemstones may even be multicolored such as purple and blue. Sapphire is a tough and durable gem, and the only natural gemstone harder than Sapphire is Diamond. Despite this, Sapphire is still subject to chipping and fracture if handled roughly, and care should be taken to ensure it is properly handled.
- Display a lighter and more intense color when viewed at different angles. Some pleochroic Sapphire is blue when viewed at one angle, and purple at a different angle. Color zoning, which forms from growth layers that build up during the formation of the stone, may also be present in certain Sapphires.
- Our Expert gemologists verified this Blue Sapphire which passed many quality base tests and get stone certified through which we are completely assured of Top Quality Gemstone. Only after that, we deliver stones to you because we also, care about your loved ones.
- Perfect For: Jewelers, Jewelry makers, Goldsmiths, Designers, Craftsmen, Collectors or a gift for the special one. Each and every stone is unique and you will receive ones similar to the image shown.

Kinda small but still a good-looking stone

Not really happy with this stone. The sale page said natural the gem cert says color enhanced and it looks it. It also has three cracks through it and they come together in a way that will only yield one or two decent sized faceted stones. I'll up date this after I cut them if it is worth telling about.

You can see this is so cracked on the inside you can’t use it for anything nothing at all but blue square to look at

It’s nit taking real sapphire and could not use for anything because of all that dye coming out of it, why would a real crystal need to be enhanced.
