The pendant itself is great. There is a protective covering over the paint for the rainbow design so there is no need to worry about chipping or peeling on the pendant. The stainless steel also great for people who have allergies such as myself. The only complaint I have is about the chain that is included with the pendant. It is very flimsy and short. You will likely need a different chain in order to wear the pendant.

UPDATE: after a week of wearing the enamel on the pendant caught on my shirt and broke. No way to contact the seller for a replacement that I could find. Cannot recommend.Initial review: Pride initial pendant necklace. The necklace chain is very fine and sized for people with smaller frames. For most large frames a different chain will be needed unless one likes a choker like fit.The clasp has good tension but was small and difficult to maneuver. The catch loop was located several inches from the end as with some necklaces. The fineness of the loop coupled with the fineness of the chain made it difficult to place the loop into the clasp without catching other parts of the chain. The chain end adbruptly ends with a cut loop and without any sort of decoration.The pendant is solid and has a nice heft. The enamel side of the pendant is well made and colorful. The back has some milling marks which were more cosmetic than physical. The loop for the pendant is simple bent metal, with the two small pins holding the pendant overlapping in it's loop. It's easy to move the metal sides of the loop, so it will not take much force to pull the pendant off.

This is perfect for casual summer attire! The materials used are solid and the glazing is perfectly done. The colors are vivid and there is no bleeding between shades. I initially got this item for events but it is so cute and featherlight I may start wearing it all the time! It comes with a decent chain and the quarter sized pendant is colorful and eye catching without being gaudy. I love lobster clasp necklaces and the length of this chain is perfect.
