It is exactly what it says it is. The edges of the letters are straight cut, not polished round, it could cut the skin if not carefully handled. Just be careful. At 18 inches, I would have prefered the chain to be 20 inches instead, I'm a man of average staturee. There is a 2 inch extension, but I'd like the 20 plus the extensionSeller really should provide an options. The 18inch length is too long for most women.
