Somluck Komolmith
My name is Somluck Komolmith. My nickname is Aoun, which means 'fat' but I'm not fat. :) I was born December 16, 1964, the youngest of five children. I have three brothers and one sister. My parents used to have a jewelry shop on the Myanmar border, but then we moved to a different city, where I went to high school. I decide to study for a vocational degree in accounting. My first job was in a bank and I worked there for 16 years. In 1992, I married my husband, who is an academic in the field of agriculture. I quit my job at the bank and decided to grow fruit trees. Almost all the trees in our garden are longan, mango and fruit trees to sell in the market. We have a son, born in 1993, and a daughter, born in 1996.

My brother and my sister moved to northern Thailand to be near me and to help take care of my mother. We all love her so much. And this has helped our family be closer. My two older brothers have jewelry shops and I have the chance to help them. I have had many opportunities to learn about jewelry and have even designed and created pieces myself.

I love Novica and what they do for artists all over! This piece caught my eye and I couldn't resist! As always, it was wrapped beautifully which is great if you want to send as a gift. It's definitely a choker but the 2" extension is nice and the silver leaf at the end is a thoughtful and pretty addition. The garnet beads are polished and smooth and look nice in the light! It's a great everyday piece but also looks nice when dressed up! I think this necklace would look great on anyone!

I loved the craftsmanship. This artist really cares about their design. The packaging was absolutely beautiful. I would have given it 5 stars if the garnets were more red. The garnets seemed like purple to me. Other than that, the necklace was beautiful.

The necklace is beautiful, and seems to be good quality. However the photo is misleading. The photo shows a choker-style necklace with an extender to adjust the length. As you can see in my picture, there was no extender attached to the necklace I received. This is disappointing. I am going to need to purchase an extra extender to be able to vary the length to pair with different necklines. This may not be an issue for some, but I think the photo needs be changed to accurately represent the product.
