Okay, I don't know about you but when I think of St. Patrick's Day, I think of drunken shenanigans, green beer and good food with good friends...I don't think elegant and fun, but that is exactly what these earrings are, elegant and fun. The craftsman ship is beautiful, they are well stitched together and I do not worry about them falling apart during an evening of drunken shenanigans such as St. Pat's. That being said, these are elegant, the beading elevates the look of something as simple as an earring, but at the same time they are fun, think of it as a day to night kind of earring. I would wear these to work with a blazer, and then out for the evening with a sparkly top, they are just elegant yet fun. I absolutely recommend these, they are well made and fun!

These are really cute! My daughter is on a sports team that is the Lucky Hawks and I wear these earrings to her games. The earrings themselves are great but the backing is not super secure. Backs are itchy so if cheap metal irritates you, I would wear a different backing.
