I purchased several cases for jewelry that I don't wear often but want to keep safe. The quality of this case is inferior to the 2 my mom purchased from her jeweler for other pieces given to me but I would bet the price is half or less. It is good enough for what I want but if you are giving a quality piece of jewelry as a gift, I would look for a case with a nicer quality.
