Black Nickel Metal

For a dynamic, dark metal outline, we used black nickel plating. This creates a gunmetal or ‘space grey’ type finish. This provides a dark outline in some lights and angles and a reflective, shiny appearance at other times. We use black nickel when we want a dark outline but also want to use hard enamel for a flat, glossy surface.

This pin is really pretty in person. The colors are bright and the lines are delicate. My only complaint is that it is smaller than expected. Lengthwise it is about the size of 3/4 of my pinky.
