This was an unexpected surprise. The pendant and station chain are delicate; yet, not flimsy. It's a great size to wear alone or layered. I bought this because I was tired of my good jewelry getting broken at work and have worn it outside of work too. The station "beading" elevates this piece, adding some unexpected, visual interest. I'd love to get it in additional metal colors/finishes.

It indeed is real silver. I've worn it every day since I bought it and it hasn't tarnished. I do worry about the delicate chain, but it seems to be holding up just fine. I usually only take off jewelry unless I'm showering or going in a pool. i can approve, it will hold up.

Despite so many raving reviews, I was not impressed with this necklace. First, the quality is awful; even for cheap jewelry, it looks like it came from a toy capsule vending machine. Second, I took another star off cause it arrived tangled in the packaging, and then the packaging also had a weird odor for jewelry smelled like chemicals. Overall a waste of money, the pendant is far from being considered dainty; it's average size.Update: I was a bit harsh with my review. It's a 3.5 necklace. It's not as dainty as I would like, but if you want a basic necklace you can wear often, this will work. The quality isn't awful; it's pretty decent that it holds up to weekly wear. I can't speak for everyday wear, though. I am still on the hunt for a small necklace.
