This is a great stainless steel (316L) chain. I got both a 6mm 24" and a 3mm 34". both are excellent. Clasp is well made and secure and easy to open and close. Very shiny, length is exact as stated. 6mm is heavy duty and a manly size. It may be a little bold to wear, but passable. not overly huge but still has weight and size as a single chain. 6mm would be great for a 2" - 3" cross like most musicians wear or something along those lines. 3mm is more refined almost like a smaller rope chain light feel to it but you know it will not break easily, still has some weight but nothing that would feel heavy on the neck. the 6mm does have the weight and you will notice it after some time wearing it. The link is a box shape versus round which I assumed by the pics but not disappoint at all, I actual enjoy the square shape. The links are clean and move well does not twist or kink lays flat. I really enjoy the 3mm and will use this as an everyday. I put a medic alert dog tag on the end. Swings well and does not bind on the neck. I wore it while cutting the lawn and sweating and was not uncomfortable or annoying like some chains might feel. I have worn the generic ball bead chains, like the ones on light pull chains and those tarnish in heart beat, and it stuck to the skin. This well stay nice and shiny. Body acid will tarnish most chains after some wear usually a few weeks to a few months. I think this will not be the case for this chain. Especially if you rinse it or shower with it on. I would recommend for the price. I know local shops charge up to $30-$40 for size and length, But this is an excellent value. I would buy again without a second thought and plan on buying more because of the cheap price and great quality.
