This is an excellent watch winder for the money. Actually, strike that. This is an excellent watch winder FULL STOP. I have a set of 9 Wolf Module 4.1 single winders that, in fairness, have performed flawlessly for nearly 10 years. And, while I love them, at $400 each +/- they are an indulgence. When I finally convinced my wife to add a second automatic to her collection, a winder became a necessity for her. We could have spent $800+ on a pair of new Wolf winders, but I saw this on Amazon and gave it a shot. Boy, am I glad I did.First, the overall quality is impeccable. The materials, the stitching, the finishing, all great. I hate to keep comparing it to my Wolf winders, but those are all I know. And by comparison, this winder is both better-finished and better-looking. I love the modularity and certainly the reliability of the Wolf winders, but this one is just as silent, has just as many controls and seems just as robust. And there are little things, too. The pillows are soft and pliable. The inside is as well-finished as the outside. The watches even end upright and centered every single time the winder stops winding. None of these are big things, but together they give the impression of a well-made, well-considered piece of equipment. In the end, I still love the modularity and longevity of my Wolf winders and I will keep them for as long as I can. But, for a fraction of the price and a bulk of the quality, I would buy another one of these Heiden winders in a heartbeat. In fact, I'm strongly considering purchasing another to put next to my wife's where I can rotate my daily drivers...both literally and figuratively. ;-)

Use this to replace my piece of crap made dual watch Winder that was made in Japan. Tried to save some money the first time around and paid the price. Luckily I didn't spend too much on that one. This Winder is made in California. Right out of the box the build quality seems to be very good. This thing is heavy. It has dual motors so you can have separate settings for separate watches. Can run on batteries or it comes with an AC adapter. Money is in my closet so noise is not an issue but when the door shut you can't hear a thing. Spins my heavy Breitlings just fine. Also has a setting for the number of spins you want per day. This can be important for your automatic watches. Even though most of the time they can't be overwhelmed, too much spinning overstress the mechanism which prevents overwinding. The look of it is a quilted padded leather. Feels very nice. Overall I'm very satisfied with this one so far. If I have any issues I will update later. Other than that I think this is an.UPDATE 8/25/2020Still going strong. Ordering a second one.

I went through three watch winders before I landed on this one. The other two dazzled me with the piano finish however neither of them were even remotely functional for my needs. The first one had small holders that allowed both watches (a Breitling and a Tag Heuer) to slide back and forth as the winder turned. The second one did allow for anything less than like 2,800 RPD, way too much winding for both of my watches. This one holds both watches snugly, and it has varied RPD setting so I can turn one watch 650 times a day and the other 950 times a day. Plus it looks badass on my table. It's a bit more $$$ than the other two, but so far it has been worth the extra outlay.

Everything is well built, quiet and looks great. The only downside to the one I have is the top winder is just a bit slower than the bottom one. Probably not enough to make a difference though.

I purchased this because of the many verified purchase / 5 star reviews, but I had a much worse experience than othersIt looks nice, feels solid, and is very quiet. Thats the good. The bad?First, it does not rotate the watches enough to keep time. The entire point of watch winders is that you put a watch in it for days or weeks and when you take it out it it, the watch is up to date, wound and at current time. This one does not. Any watch I put on this at maximum spin (I've tried several different watches) for days or weeks and it is off by many hours and the date by a few days.I tried a variety of setting combinations over the past few months, but none work. It a loser as a winder.Second, when sitting on a countertop vertically, the watches do not stay in place - they tumble forward vertically. Other winders have the watch holders angle upwards, and so the watches stay in place. Not this one -- its horizontal holders rotate the watches forward into the glass door - a poor design.I don't write many reviews, but my experience is this expensive item and a waste of money. IF YOU BUY IT TRY IT IMMEDIATELY AND BE PREPARED TO RETURN IT

While it's no Oribta watch winder, it is well built and quiet. I measured ~37 decibels when rotating. YMMV.The base is heavy and rubber coated on the entire bottom. The solid but stiff hinge takes two hands to open the door. One on the base, the other on the door to prevent the entire unit from moving. Not a big deal. The rotation setting switches have a solid feel. It came VERY well packaged.Overall, I'd buy another one when my automatic watch collection grows.

This looks great and works perfectly. Runs silent and works as described.

I have two of these and they are excellent winders. Very well built, easy to use and virtually silent. I have them in the nightstand by the bed and I can't hear them operate. Highly recommended.
