Moissanite is a good diamond substitute, but it is hard compared to natural diamonds. It is lab-created and has an intense fire. It is easier to get by with it when the gemstones are small like these. I have several Moissanite pieces, and ladies would drool over one in particular of several carats that I wore for two years. I got some disparaging comments, like how lucky I am, I am spoiled, and I presume they were not. I am because I have not spent much money getting what I have, and people love the pieces.I will gift this piece. I love the gift packaging you can use instead of a more personal gift bag.I spent $21 on a new jewelry cleaner, and it is perfect, especially if your pieces are whole and not damaged. Otherwise, it would be best to handle it with so much care that you might need jewelers.This is a vintage shape that looks almost royal. I recommend it for your semi-precious jewelry wardrobe.Enjoy!
