I give four stars for a very good item that meets expectations, five stars is for something that exceeds expectations.These earrings are very attractive, the gem is clear, sparkly and have firm backs that clicked into place securely. These sit high in the setting and are surrounded by smaller pave stones.They look good - whether they pass for diamonds or not is probably a function of your opinion a well as the set.These were $100 at time of order. While they came in an aqua box with black felt, the box has the brand Sizeron boldly written across the front of the box somewhat taking away from it, if the brand was smaller or in a less conspicuous place it would be much better for gift giving. They are Sterling Silver with 14k white gold plating - I'll need more time wearing them to see how they hold up. I will update this review if they start to tarnish, the stones come loose or there is any other problem.
