I got my daith pierced about 6 years ago, and have always wanted to put a new piece in since it was healed, but never found quite the right one. Then I was daunted by the idea of the task at hand, it's IN your ear, and it was put in with a captive ball ring. But I went through with ordering this because I was so attracted to it and really thought it would pop in my ear. When I got it I was very pleasantly surprised by the look of it in person. It seemed to be the perfect size in mm to fit my piercing. I went to remove my original piecing and to my surprise all I had to do was use two fingers from one hand to hold the metal, and two fingers from the other hand to pull out the ball and it took all of 20 seconds. The installation of the be piece was next. That was just as easy. I unhinged the latch, matched it up with the hike without the use of a mirror even, and it matched right through, I felt for the match and clicked it closed. It's very comfortable and you can't even feel it touching your skin. It's very nice quality and I'm very impressed overall with this piece.

This review is for the Green-8MM version.The 8mm size fits perfectly in my daith. The clicker mechanism made it easy to put the ring in myself. It closed securely, I have no fear the ring will pop open. The clicker lines up straight with the closing part. I mention this because I tried one clicker ring that was slightly off and it was really hard to close. That’s not a problem here, this ring is straight and that adds to the ease of putting it in myself.I love the look! The style is so unique and striking.
