For about 13 bucks, this is great. I just received it so I don’t know how long the finish will last, but again, it was only about 13 bucks so at that price I’d be willing to repurchase after a period of time if necessary, at any rate. I am storing it in a gallon ziplock bag in between wearings. This item looks classy. It’s not too tight (I wanted it to lay on the collarbone area and not be so short that it looked like a choker style riding high up on my neck.....I’m almost 50, not 20, lol). It’s totally appropriate to wear with career clothes, etc. The ends of the band I received are smooth (no ball thingy to unscrew at the ends of the band on the one I received, as described by an earlier reviewer) and the same size as the rest of the band. The band can also be gently stretched to open a little wider so I can comfortably put it on around my neck. Also, the band is firm but has just enough give in it that with some effort I was able to put a slight bend in it along the sides so that it would lay completely flat against my collarbone (as opposed to ‘sticking out’ straight from my neck), if that makes sense. The band retains the shape I bent it into. It easily accommodates my bulky gold pendant slider and looks great. I think the description lists the band as 4mm. I can tell you that a 6mm jump ring (to hold your pendant, etc., should you wish to place one on the band) is not large enough to slide over the band and have room to hold a pendant. I just ordered some 10mm jump rings and they haven’t come in yet, but theoretically should be sufficient. Love it.
