The butterflies are on a curved bar, so you can only wear them flat to your ear, can't let them dangle like most threader earrings. Also the link that connects chain to bar is bigger so you have to force it through the hole, I haven't worn earrings for a few months so made mine bleed. Wish I had spent this money on a different pair

Unfortunately the chain was too thick to fit through my holes. I don't wear heavy earrings so my holes are relatively small. The quality looked good, however, and the overall design was lovely. But I had to give the earrings away because they wouldn't fit. Recommend to not buy if you have small pierced holes.
