I was looking for a stud type earring that I could just leave in all the time. I don't change out my earrings often and I like to have something in all the time. These have been in my ears for at least a month and they are not irritating at all. The ball type back keeps them in place and keeps them from poking while you sleep.

When I first received these, I was challenged to get the twisted backs off them. I used all my might and at one point, thought maybe they didn't actually come off. I set them aside and a few days later I tried again - still couldn't get the screwed backs off. I was disappointed because they're so cute!Then I thought I'd give one more try with pliers... TA-DA! The backs came loose and I was able to put them on/off again.Note: The backs are spherical and TINY, so it takes a while to get them to screw back on when you can't see behind your ear. However, I put these beauties in my second hole piercings and intended to never take them out. The round backs make it possible to sleep and they fact that they screw on gives me ease of mind that they won't fall out.I've worn them 24-7 for over a month now. I sleep, swim, and shower with them in and I LOVE them. I can see why others wouldn't want to put them on/off daily because of how tiny and difficult it is to get the backs on, but I don't have to worry about that now that I have them in.I have sensitive ears and these have been comfortable and so cute. I forget I have them in - even at night.

Took a bit to get the screw backs in place, but really pretty and dainty! Comfortable to wear once you get them in place.
