At first, I thought it was just a fancy pendant, but it turned out to be super helpful. When I wear it, it's like a reminder to take those deep breaths when things get crazy. The quality is nice but I expected a bit more resistance. It's like a whistle without sound. I don't find it any more useful than regular breathing techniques. The chain also made my neck itch.

This little gadget seems unnecessary but it really is helpful. Wearing it reminds me to take deep breaths to calm down. I know it is helpful to exhale slowly but that can be hard to do and with this you're forced to. It came on the chain pictured, and another more delicate steel chain was in the box as well. The delicate chain hangs about an inch shorter than the original chain, and can be adjusted another half inch or so shorter from there. The chains are long enough to wear it under your shirt.Be aware, your breath through this contraption is louder than exhaling without it so you may not want to use it in a quiet room. And though it looks sort of like a dog whistle, it isn't making any kind of high-pitched sound inaudible to humans that I can tell, because my dog did not move any of the times I've used this.

I had read about this invention somewhere, I think maybe it was from Goop by Gweneth Paltrow. It seemed really interesting to me but it was like $80. So when I saw this one here I jumped at the chance to try it. For the price, I would definitely recommend anyone with panic attacks to give it a go. It has an unobtrusive design that looks like a simple piece of jewelry, and only you will know that it holds special powers. You can even use it in public and it doesn't make you look too weird or silly. It's so easy—just breathe in normally and then breathe out through the hole of the necklace. It slows down your exhale which quickly calms your nervous system. Right now I'm keeping it on my bedpost for easy access but if your panic attacks are really bad you can wear this every day. Stainless steel is rust-proof too so you can even keep it on in the shower.

I got this to attempt to quit smoking. It's exactly as pictured, hasn't tarnished. Comes with two different chains, which are long enough to use it as intended. You have to breathe pretty forcefully to get a "pull", but I can see it helping, for sure.

This is nice piece that is not overly large and gaudy, but elegant and nice looking for anyone. This was purchased just a physical reminder to relax and breathe when the anxiety starts keeping higher. This is great way to help you slow down your breathing and focus your mind. Having a nice piece of jewelry that can be used for your mental health is just a bonus. I would say if you have a hard time with anxiety, why not give it a try, if nothing else you get a nice piece of jewelry out of it. The price point is low, so it is worth seeing if this will benefit you. Overall, the quality is nice, the price is low and if it helps with anxiety it seems like a win, win, win.
