How to Identify Authentic Sterling Silver Jewelry
In accordance with the law, silver jewelry stamped with the fineness mark 925 must also be stamped with the name of the U.S. registered mark of the company or person that stands behind the mark. Companies that have their jewelry stamped 925 but missing the company mark is illegal. Miabella stamps all sterling silver jewelry with 925 Italy and either LIRM or Miabella.
You can test your jewelry with a magnet. Never test the clasps of chains. Sterling silver clasps have stainless steel springs that will cause the magnet to stick-even if the piece is really gold or silver. Test the piece in the middle, away from the clasp. If the magnet sticks, it’s not gold or silver.

The anklet was the perfect size and a great price for sterling silver. It looks nice and feels like a good quality piece of jewelry. One thing that did happen a couple of times right after wearing it, was one of the fastening links opened easily and the anklet would fall off. Light pressure would easily open the link. If it was soldered then it wouldn't happen. I put a dab of gorilla glue to keep it from easily opening. Just be careful.
