You can test your jewelry with a magnet. Never test the clasps of chains. Sterling silver clasps have stainless steel springs that will cause the magnet to stick-even if the piece is really gold or silver. Test the piece in the middle, away from the clasp. If the magnet sticks, it’s not gold or silver.

Rhodium is preferred as it will avoid tarnish. The shine is slightly muted due to this but I like that better. Very comfortable, doesn’t pull on any of my hairs. Almost forget it’s on my wrist at times. Quality is good and should last for many years to come. Thank you to the seller for letting me exchange one for a size up.
