Thick Cuban Link Bracelet
In accordance with the law, silver jewelry stamped with the fineness mark 925 must also be stamped with the name of the U.S. registered mark of the company or person that stands behind the mark. Companies that have their jewelry stamped 925 but missing the company mark is illegal. Miabella stamps all sterling silver jewelry with 925 Italy and either LIRM or Miabella.
You can test your jewelry with a magnet. Never test the clasps of chains. Sterling silver clasps have stainless steel springs that will cause the magnet to stick-even if the piece is really gold or silver. Test the piece in the middle, away from the clasp. If the magnet sticks, it’s not gold or silver.

Sterling Silver Jewelry CareTo preserve the appearance and longevity, clean your silver jewelry regularly with an anti-tarnish polishing cloth and avoid contact with household chemicals, swimming pools and salt water. Allow perfume, spray or lotion to dry before wearing your jewelry. Do NOT use an anti-tarnish cloth on rhodium plated or gold plated jewelry, instead rub gently with a soft cotton cloth. It’s a nice, substantial bracelet that I wear every day. Would’ve liked one size smaller be made available as it’s a tad big. This chain style is strong and after weeks of continuous wear still looks brand new. If anything, it has acquired a modest patina inside the links that adds to its character.

Now having a thicker option for a bracelet or necklace makes me excited for the future of Miabella products. The only thing I wish they would add is a box clasp of some of their products. I looked around for a modest yet masculine bracelet from a reputable brand for a decent price that I could wear all day every day with anything, and here it is. My bony wrist is exactly 7 inches around and the 7.5in fits so well I could almost forget it's there, but the downside is it's a bit tedious to put on one-handed. I Doing the nerd math with a digital scale, my 7mm example contains 25.4 grams of 925 sterling, or approximately 3/4th troy ounce of pure elemental silver. Made in Italia! Ay! My only gripe: I don't particularly care for rhodium. If I wear it all day every day, which I will since the installation process is rather inconvenient, then it will rub off any way, and yes, it will tarnish. This simple fact of life does not leaden my soul as it seems to do for so many others, so I would rather knock the price down a few bucks and save the rhodium for more technical applications. Still an excellent value even compared to similarly-priced bracelets with wider but flatter links. I hope I can one day pass this on to my potential descendants and not just have it confiscated by the government in the midst of a world war which seems imminent on the horizon at the time of this review.
