So, I got this Men's 5mm Stainless Steel Figaro Chain Necklace, and it's got some serious style points. The silver tone looks slick and versatile enough to wear with casual or dressier outfits. However, here's the deal - the durability isn't as robust as I'd hoped. I've noticed some fading and scratching after a few months of regular wear, especially when it rubs against clothing or my skin. It's not a deal-breaker, but it could be sturdier.The 5mm thickness is decent, but consider something thicker if you're into chunkier chains. Overall, it's a solid-looking piece of jewelry, but expect it to stay pristine forever with some TLC.

At first glance of this necklace out of the package, the necklace looked very cheap.  I was honestly disappointed.  The necklace was presented in a little bag, making it look even more unappealing, and it just looked like the chain was so tiny and thin.However, upon taking it out the bag I noticed how very nice the chain actually looked and that it was a but thicker than first thought.I actually really like this chain.  It's about the right size for me as a woman being that it is a thinner chain.  I don't think this would be a good chain for an adult male though. Perhaps a younger adult or male kid might look good in it.As for the functionality, it's not too bad TY to put in yourself.  The clasp can hurt to pull though because it doesn't open easily when you press down on it. In trying to take it off to keep it from being overworn or away from shower water, since this is silver, I noticed that it can take a little focus to find the lobster clear because the links are smooth and all about the size of the clasp. If you run your hands past fast you might move right past the clasp part. However, it's good that with this type of necklace that the clasp doesn't stand out too much because it would affect the design of this type of chain. I do recommend this chain.  I got the 20 inch and it hangs perfectly for my height and liking so that it's not too right around my neck.  It hangs about an inch under where a standard neckline in a shirt is.

Love a Figaro chain. I’ve had full Sterling silver, beautiful and shiny once polished up. But quick to dull. So I found this being a nice stainless steel that won’t rust out and still glimmers in the sun and looks just as good as a white gold. Well, maybe not as good as white gold but then again, I can afford a white gold Figaro lol

I ordered this for my boyfriend who is kind of a chain junkie and I have to say, he likes this one a lot!For starters, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the chain itself given the retail price.The links themselves aren’t so big that they could be classified as gaudy, but they weren’t so small that they would be considered as being too feminine, which to me makes this a quality unisex piece, he loved the addition of a shine cloth at no extra cost, and I definitely appreciated the gift box as I didn’t want to just hand this over to him in the original packaging.4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️If I had one complaint about this (and my boyfriend and I were both able to overlook it due to the quality of this chain overall.) it would be that the clasp could stand to be a bit larger. It took him awhile to hook it himself and he’s a very proud man who loves to get dressed without hollering for help!Still, it’s a solid piece for the price.

I would say overall this is a nice chain. My boyfriend wanted to put a cross on it that he had from another necklace, but it wouldn't fit as the chain is pretty thick (5mm as advertised). It lays nicely and is true to size. It is a bit heavy, which some people like, but keep that in mind. The clasps seem to be sturdy and are not abnormally difficult to use. Would recommend purchasing if you are looking for a heavier chain.

My step son is 7 and is taking a big liking to mens/boys jewelry. His bio mom gave him a ring of hers so he now wears this necklace with the ring on it. He loves it! And he's super cute! The chain isn't big, isn't flashy for school and he says it's comfy.
